Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on leader to manage and grow our Test & Test Automation, DevOps and Customer Engineering teams. This position combines technical and strategic leadership, collaborating with R&D, architecture, product, and sales & marketing to deliver high-quality, tested products and seamless deployments for demos, POCs, and production releases to customer sites. Your responsibilities will encompass project planning, tracking, and rigorous testing, preparing NeuReality’s systems for deployment in various environments and overseeing customer onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

As Director of System Validation and Integration, you will lead a team of 10-15 engineers in three key areas:

  • Test & Test Automation: Develop and refine testing methodologies, including functional, performance, and longevity testing. Ensure comprehensive test case development, CI/CD integration, and consistent updates on version status and quality metrics.
  • DevOps: Oversee large-scale CI/CD pipeline and repository projects, automating builds, tests, and deployments to accelerate product iteration for both developers and customers.
  • Customer Engineering: Coordinate seamless deployment for demos, POCs and production releases, ensuring customer-facing rollouts are optimized and tested in advance. Actively engage with customers and POC sites to support their onboarding and resolve deployment issues.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Software Test (QA) and Test Automation teams, with a proven ability to build and improve testing frameworks.
  • Extensive QA knowledge and familiarity with quality assurance best practices.
  • Deep expertise in CI/CD and large-scale DevOps processes.
  • Proficiency with tools like Jira, Git, Linux OS, and knowledge of hardware products, firmware, and drivers.
  • 4+ years of managerial/ tech lead experience.
